A great travel stroller that is affordable, suitable from birth, easy to maneuver and can, with wheels off fit into Cabin luggage storage. Sturdy enough for everyday city use.

Baby Jogger City Tour 2 is a great everyday stroller, at a reasonable price that is suitable from birth without a carrycot. When the wheels are removed its also cabin sized which make this a great option. More robust that some of the smaller and more expensive options this will cope with cobbles and has a really simply fold for getting up steps or easily on and off transport. This pushchair offers a combination of lightweight design, portability, and comfort for my little one. It has received many positive reviews.

Pros

The pushchair is made with durable rubber tires that provide a smooth and nimble ride. The locking front swivel wheels with suspension make maneuvering easy, even on uneven surfaces. It offers a near-flat seat recline, which is suitable for babies from birth up to 22 kg. If needed, a carrycot or car seat can be added with the use of adapters (sold separately).

The signature one-hand fold with auto-lock feature is convenient and allows for easy folding and compact storage. The pushchair folds itself simply and compactly into a standing fold, and the auto-lock secures the fold for transportation or storage. I appreciate this feature as it saves me time and effort.

The pushchair provides a comfortable ride for my baby with its adjustable calf support and multi-position seat recline. The extendable UV50+ canopy with a peek-a-boo window keeps my baby shaded from the sun, and the included carry bag allows for easy transportation when on the go.

Maneuverability is where this stroller really shines, and after all that’s what you are going to feel most in a stroller. Whilst there are smaller and lighter strollers with better folds and cosier strollers for newborns, this stroller is, like many in the BabyJogger range, very very easy to push around. It gets up and down curbs and can easily cope with grass. Although It’s not designed for rough terrain (like all lightweight strollers) it will cope with cobbles and uneven pavement better than most.

Cons

However, there are a few areas where the pushchair could be improved. The folding mechanism can be a bit tricky to master, especially when trying to fold it with one hand. Watching a YouTube video or following the instructions carefully is recommended to understand the process better.

Some users have reported difficulties with customer support, as the provided link redirects to a site that is only for US and Canadian customers. This can be frustrating for customers outside of those regions who require assistance.

Overall

Despite minor drawbacks, I find the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Travel Pushchair to be a reliable and practical choice for traveling. Its lightweight design, compact fold, and comfortable features make it a great option for families on the go. It feels very durable and it’s good value for money. The only reason I wouldn’t have this as my only stroller would be if I liked jogging or long walks with my baby or if I wanted parent facing function to talk to my baby. With a carrycot creating a cosier space this stroller is a great from birth option for city dwellers, or parents who use the car a lot.

These points should provide you with a clear overview of the advantages and disadvantages of the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Travel Pushchair.
